Action Africa Help International ICT Support Officer Job in Nairobi Kenya

AAH-I, an international non-profit making agency that implements health and development projects in Africa seeks to recruit an ICT Support Officer for its programmes.

The position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

The holder of this position will ensure the proper running and maintenance of the ICT systems within AAH-I (both HQ and regional offices/country programmes).

Required Qualifications:
  • A degree in Information Systems from a recognized University
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar or a higher position
Expected Service:
  • Install, monitor and maintain all computers and networks in AAH-I
  • Install, configure, monitor and maintain all computer systems i.e. operating systems, antivirus software, productivity software (Microsoft Office), enterprise resource planning system, and any other ICT systems that may be in use in AAH-I.
  • Ensure all computer systems in AAH-I are kept updated with latest software patches and database updates.
  • Ensure availability and access to email and Internet for all AAH-I users
  • Provide first line software and hardware support to AAH-I users
  • Serve as the ICT point of contact for third parties, i.e. ICT vendors for goods and services, on all ICT matters in AAH-I
  • Participate in reviewing, formulating and implementing an IT policy for the organization
  • Participate in identification and prioritization of IT needs for the organization
  • Provide technical and operational advice, and coordinate the procurement and implementation of IT projects when the need arises
  • Carry out or organize for ICT training for users where required
