Payroll Supervisor
Our Client is a established and seasoned financial Company with a strong brand presence in providing financial solutions within the region. Our Client is looking to fill the position of a Payroll Supervisor, who will be tasked to provide services for its entire business operations in regards to payroll processing.
Reporting to the Assistant Human Resource Manager-Reward, the job holder will have the following
responsibilities:
· Processing of monthly payroll· Remitting payroll deductions to respective beneficiaries
· Processing staff reimbursements- outpatient medical claims, travel & entertainment
and other claims that have been duly approved
· Generating payroll reconciliation reports and filing monthly
· Filing income tax returns annually
· Filling monthly PAYE returns using the Tax Software
· Ensure compliance with KRA, NHIF, NSSF and HELB
Qualifying Requirements of the Candidate:
· Minimum education level, Undergraduate degree with an accounting background
· Prior experience in payroll processing
· In-depth knowledge of Income Tax Act
· General knowledge of the Employment Act
· Experience in using SUN Systems is an added advantage
· Good command in MS Office particularly Excel
· Experience in a financial sector is preferred
