Job Title: Finance Officer
Reports to: Chief Accountant
Job Purpose: The job holder is responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial information to
provide to the Management with information that will support strategic business planning, decision making and ensure strong financial control of the organization.
The individual will be responsible for operating an effective budgetary system.
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting Professional Experience
At least 3 years relevant experience in finance
Ability to analyze financial information efficiently and accurately
Knowledge of all accounting principles, GAAP and automated accounting systems
Analytical skills in Finance and accountability
Attention to detail
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Accountant software (must know Pastel)
Experience in Credit Control
Interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
Supervisory skills and a good team player
Ability to work with minimum supervision
