Enterprise Account Manager
Our client in the ICT industry is looking for a qualified individual to fill the above competitive position.
Position Objective
The Enterprise Account Manager’s (EAM) primary responsibility is to create and to develop strong ongoing business relationships with our enterprise account client’s senior managers, technical
supervisors, engineers and technicians.
The goal is to maintain the company's existing relationship with a client or group of clients, so that they will continue using the company for business. Account managers are responsible for working with clients to identify their needs and work out how the company can best meet those requirements, in order that the client does not decide to place business elsewhere.
The EAM also tries to identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business with the company.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Manage all aspects of Microsoft Enterprise Agreements including, logging calls, running clients through Agreement Details, and ensuring that the client is engaged based on T-36 Model.
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
Maintain and develop existing and new enterprise accounts/customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant Update all relevant quotes and sales for Microsoft products and solutions on the PSX.
Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Qualifications
Requires a Diploma/ degree in Business, Computer Science or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience -Industry experience in providing solutions/product sales to Corporates is highly desired. Computer Solutions background required.
