Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Recruiting and training sales staff
Allocating areas to sales representatives
Developing sales strategies and setting targets
Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
Compiling and analyzing sales figures
Dealing with some major customer accounts
Collecting customer feedback and market research
Reporting to senior managers
Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Skills/Competencies:
Meeting Sales Goals, Motivation for Sales, Territory Management, Presentation Skills, Performance Management, Building Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Negotiation, Results Driven, Sales Planning, Managing Profitability.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelors Degree in a Business related field from a recognized institution. Additional diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
Sound Knowledge in Customer plan implementation
Knowledge of regional trade channels
Excellent negotiation, communication/presentation, problem solving, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Management of the customer’s supply chain interface
Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar role in FMCG industry
