Job Profile
The successful candidate will be expected to leverage emerging information, communication and technology to add value to the business and effectively manage ICT operations to ensure optimal services to end users and contribute to overall business strategy delivery and professional growth for ICT staff which will also entail:
Identifying ICT investments that will fit into defined business and ICT strategies that are in congruence with the corporate strategies.
Set up departmental operations controls against target on security and staff allocation.
Participate ¡n forums/meetings that setup/formulate corporate policy on companywide change management projects.
Review IT industry trends and advice management on the impact on business and IT strategies.
Manage external equipment, business and service contracts in terms of contract formulation, implementation and enforcement with third parties for business value management.
Provide general internal ICT user support.
Person Profile
A minimum University degree in sciences, mathematics computer science or telecommunication/electronics engineering.
Relevant post graduate qualification and certification in ICT profession and data base management systems.
Minimum 5 years experience in a senior managerial position.
Exposure to an ERP environment.
Member of a professional body.
Well developed analytical communication and presentation skills and a team player.
Result oriented, with exposure in business /organizational management.
Ability to work independently, remain focused and maintain highest integrity and objectivity.
