4 Great Kenyan inventions that may (have) been stolen.

An NGO is set to start patenting Maasai culture, its arts and its artifacts. Soon, Kenyans will have to start patenting their ideas, or else the rest of the world will soon steal these ideas. Here are four great Kenyan inventions that stand to be stolen (or have ) already been stolen.

1. MPESA.
The story of MPESA is now as old as time.It is the most successful mobile money transfer platform in the world. Orange, Airtel, and Yu have also launched similar mobile money transfer services. According to the
Central bank of Kenya, 425 billion shillings was exchanged in the first three months of the year. Last year, a total of over one trillion shillings was transacted through the service.

2. Cultural nights.
Instead of Nairobians going to the village, cultural nights have brought the village to Nairobians and other urban dwellers. think of the many cultural nights like the mugithi night, egesa night, ramogi night, and mulembe night.

3. Kijiji
The word Kijiji may have been stolen by ebay, the world's leading auction website.

4. Kiondo.
Kiondo is now a patented Japanese product.
