Mount Kenya University is a Chartered and quality- driven University operating in East Africa. The University is a member of Inter University Council of East Africa (IUCEA).
Mount Kenya University , Kigali Campus, Rwanda has been awarded broadcasting frequency by the
Government of the Republic of Rwanda.
The university is working in partnership with UNICEF country office in Rwanda to actualize the establishment of MKU 107.9 FM radio station in Kigali city.
Location: Kigali, the capital city of the Republic of Rwanda.
Work permits
The Republic of Rwanda is a member state of East African Community. Kenyan employees recruited to work in Rwanda will enjoy the reciprocal/protocol status and therefore the working permits are automatic.

Radio Audio Editor
Key Responsibilities
H/She shall be responsible for Post-production assembling and modifying shot material to create finished products for transmission or exhibition.
H/She shall work closely with directors and producers, to identify their creative intentions and technical requirements, and to agree with editing decisions.
H/She shall be responsible for making creative decisions, which will have significant implications for the aesthetic, technical or commercial success of the production.
Qualifications and Competencies
H/She must be a holder of a Bachelor degree in digital editing and must have good knowledge of sound management with at least two years’ experience.
In addition to this H/She must have;
Good organizational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Excellent team-building and leadership skills
