A leading bakery in Western Kenya, is looking to recruit a dynamic and results oriented Sales Manager to drive the sales of existing and new products to new heights within the country.
You will report to the directors through the General Manager:
Key Job Description requirements:
- Develop the overall business plan for all vehicle salesmen with clear business strategies to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
- Monitor all vehicle salesmen’s activities on a daily basis in terms of daily sales targets, product mix targets and daily truck loading targets
- Visit all customers of the company and work with the van salesmen to identify opportunities for sales growth in the existing outlets and implement the same.
- Conduct research and networking to expand the sales and distribution network into new territories.
- Preparation of Daily and monthly target for the Salesmen’s in terms of crates and products sold.
Qualification Requirements:
- University degree in sales & marketing with good computer knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- Five year’s work experience in sales & marketing
- At least two year’s work experience at supervisory level
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- An outgoing and likeable personality
- A high degree of self-motivation
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Strong Customer Focus
- Ability to work until late under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Resilience & persistence combined with the ability to cope with rejection
- Commercial business sense
