Surveillance Data Analyst Assistant
The overall responsibilities of the data analyst assistant will be to manage, manipulate and analyse data sets
from all the nine counties for

Surveillance Data Analyst Assistant
The overall responsibilities of the data analyst assistant will be to manage, manipulate and analyse data sets
Duties and Responsibilities
• To update and maintain all indicators datasets.
• To analyse surveillance indicators data (trend analysis) for monthly bulletins following the instructions and recommendations of the Surveillance Data Analyst.
• To present and share the results of the analysis for monthly bulletins.
• To provide Data quality assurance review and evaluation for all the datasets.
• To deal with routine problems arising in the course of data handling.
• Assist in suggesting relevant types of analysis to be carried out monthly on the identified list of indicators.
• Assist in gathering data from various sources on monthly basis.
• To also participate in bringing relevant information for accurate contextual analysis of the data on a monthly basis
• Participate in retrieving and analysing historical data in collaboration with the Surveillance Data Analyst
• To perform other duties as required.
Required Profile
• Diploma in related field with specialized training in data analysis and data management
• Good IT skills
• Minimum of 1 years experience in analysing livelihood data and monitoring the effect of changing environment on the livelihood of pastoralist communities
• Good inter personnel skills
• Good communication and writing skills
• Very good planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a complex environment, with short deadline
• Knowledge of the Drought Cycle Management
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Strong team player
• Computer literacy skills – Word, Excel essential
• Flexibility and adaptability
