Summary:
Our client is a renowned Group of companies that is professionally managed business activities in prestigious property investment and hotel industry based in Kenya and is seeking to recruit a General Manager reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
Under the direction of the CEO, the General Manager is responsible for overall management and
operation of the Group
Main Responsibilities & Duties
• Oversee all financial management functions including those necessary for auditing, budgeting, financial analysis, capital asset and payroll.
• Handle all aspects of human resource management.
• Interact with Financial Institutions, Strategic Partners, Stakeholders, Contractors, Clients, Suppliers, etc.• Responsible for varied contracts management including negotiations, research, and agreement terms, etc.
• Assist in development of current and long-term organizational goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures for Group’s operations. .
Education & Experience
• A Bachelors degree in Business Management, Finance or Organizational Development/ its equivalent. An MBA graduate is an added advantage.
• At least 10 years experience at senior management level
• Proven ability to maintain effective systems of managing and implement internal controls.
• Understand the technical aspects of managing a multi facet organization
• Strong written and oral communication skills are critical to insure that the Manager will be effective and persuasive in presenting the Group’s objectives.
• Successful candidates will have strong organizational, administrative, and financial management skills.
• Accounting is necessary and Legal knowledge is a benefit.
• Energetic, self driven and focused individual
