Customer Service Assistant

The Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT) is seeking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant to handle our front Office reception work at Pension Towers.

IAT Pension Towers is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Customer Service Assistant.

The position combines both Front Office reception work, handling customer enquiries and keeping
records of the same.

Minimum Qualifications:
    Be a Diploma holder (with a Credit), in a business related field Have a K.C.S.E.
    Aggregate grade of C+ or higher with a minimum of C in both Mathematics and English

Skills and Experience:
    Have completed both ICDL 1 & 2 (attach copy with application)
    Possess excellent interpersonal , communication skills and people skills
    Be able to work flexible hours (up to 7p.m. in the evenings)
    Have experience in handling customers and be people persons
    Have worked in a similar role for at least 6 months.

If you are applying for customer service representative, candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and a minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service position. Applicants should have the ability to work with spreadsheets, data tables from computer generated reports, and comfort working with IT systems. Understanding of Excel, Word and other software is essential. Demonstrated experience conducting data entry in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Essential functions are to receive, process, follow up and communicate order information with customers and sales representatives and provide feedback and information for internal customers.
