Kenya Power to increase connection fees.

Kenya Power will increase the electricity connection fees in a bid to cushion it from rising costs. However, , the cabinet secretary for energy, David Chrichir said in a meting with industry stakeholders Kenya Power could have looked for other sources of raising revenue other than increasing fees for
consumers. He for example, cited that the costs within Kenya power could be contained through structured procurement that is not prone to ‘wastage’.
