Sales Accounts Manager-Microsoft Lead
Our client in the ICT industry is looking for a qualified individual to fill the above competitive  position.

Position Objective
The Sales Account Manager- Microsoft Lead’s primary responsibility is to create and to develop strong ongoing business relationships with our client’s senior managers, technical supervisors, engineers and technicians on Microsoft products and solutions. 

The Accounts Manger builds client relationship by acting as the interface between the technical and support teams and sales teams within a company.

The goal is to maintain the company's existing relationship with a client or group of clients, so that they will continue using the company for business.

The Account Manager also tries to identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business with the company.

Responsibilities
•    Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
•    Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
•    Manage Microsoft product/solution/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
•    Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
•    Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
•    Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
•    Respond to and follow up Microsoft products and solutions sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
•    Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
•    Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
•    Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
•    Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
•    Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
•    Mentor the team members reporting to the position.

Qualifications – Desirable:
•    Diploma/Bachelors degree in one or more of the following disciplines commerce social sciences, sales and marketing, information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Must also have Microsoft Sales Specialist, volume licensing and other related certifications.
•    At least four years related industry experience.  At least two years’ experience in sales of Microsoft Core Infrastructure, business productivity solutions, Microsoft licensing and Office 365 required. Experience providing solutions/product sales to corporate is essential.
 
•    Desirable skills: Honesty and unquestionable integrity in handling finances, results-driven with proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude, high energy individual and demonstrated leadership skills and flexibility.
 
•    Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well-presented and businesslike. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month within the region. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team-player.

•    Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.

Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.

Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, eg., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc. Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.
