Do you have knowledge of vacation travel alternatives and a sincere interest in customer satisfaction?
If so our client in the travel industry is looking for a Travel Consultant.
Duties and responsibilities:
Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all customers both domestic and International.
Use creativity and a variety of resources to overcome challenges, acquire information, satisfy clients'
needs and maximize agency revenues. Establish clients' needs on first contact, qualify by leading client conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with patience and focus.
Offer comparisons and make recommendations
Ensure that all reservations are processed in accordance with established policies.
Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities.
Consistently maintain personal sales and revenue targets as established on an individual basis
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Must have a Travel College Diploma or Degree in related field
Travel Consultant Experience, including international booking and consultation.
Proven customer service skills and abilities.
Personable, Flexible, presentable, service-oriented, accurate, efficient, able to work under pressure of deadlines.
Office is open 6 days a week and must be willing to work Saturdays.
