Bralirwa Distribution Development Manager Job in Rwanda

Bralirwa is a leading alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage producer and distributor in Rwanda in partnership with Linkage Outsourcing Services specializing in Professional Outsourcing and Strategy for companies, is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Distribution Development Manager for our client Bralirwa.
 
Job Purpose:
 
Reporting to the Sales Director, He / She will contribute to the development of efficient Route-To-Market, leading a strategic distribution development programs, developing a portfolio of tools and services for Bralirwa’s distributors and increasing knowledge and capabilities to sustain long term value and growth for Bralirwa and its distributors.
Key Activities of the Job
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and maintaining of the most efficient RTM model and propose alternative models that improve the economic benefit for Bralirwa, while ensuring security, control and efficiency in the market.
  • Develop, localize and coordinate the implementation of the Distributor Development Programs and tools in alignment with Heineken Africa & Middle East Team.
  • Design and promote all initiatives aimed at improving the quality, professionalism and operational efficiency of our distributors
  • Develop distribution KPIs and guidelines that are critical to drive distributor behavior
  • Provide support to Distributor Managers in crafting the Annual Distributor Plan
  • Provide support to Distributor managers and offer expert consulting on the implementation and application of policies, guidelines and management tools concerning management of depot, fleet, finance, routing, etc
  • Coordinate with legal department, the Annual Distributor Agreement for each adopted distribution model.
  • Define yearly objectives, projects and resources for Distributor Development
  • Represent Bralirwa at regional and global platforms relating to Distributor Development
Education Qualification, Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Economics. A Master’s Degree in the same fields is desirable
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in a commercial field
  • The ideal candidate should have knowledge in Financial analysis
  • He/She should possess strong analytical skills
  • Must have sound computer knowledge ( MS Office Suite a must)
  • Should be able to read, speak and write in English
  • Should have a driver’s license
  • Must be able to generate customer insights that will drive customer strategies
  • Must have brand, portfolio and category understanding
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must have critical thinking skills and must be able to foster collaborations
