Market Research and Development Manager
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Manager, Marketing and Public Relations, will be responsible for collection and interpretation of data, formulating reports and making strategic business recommendations. In addition, the role holder will also be responsible for gathering market intelligence.
Main Duties:
Collecting and analyzing data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits to identify
Forecasting and track marketing sales trends.
Preparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into clear recommendations and strategies.
Monitoring industry statistics and following trends and bank industry literature.
Gathering data on competitors and analyzing their strategies, tariffs, customer service and policies.
Devising and evaluating methods and procedures for collecting data
Job specification:
The incumbent will be required to possess the following qualifications, attributes and skills:
A bachelor’s degree in any business related field.
3 years in banking or financial markets experience.
A minimum of 3 years experience within market research and analysis.
Strong analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written & presentation).
Expertise with data analytics, excel and other data interpretation software.
