John Sibi-Okumu- More commonly known as JSO, has written a
new and exciting play for the Phoenix Theater titled Meetings. The play was commissioned in June, and is to run prior to
the forthcoming general elections. “I would describe it as a wakeup call to
Kenyans to abandon a culture of physical and emotional violence and move tone
of tolerance and acceptance,” said John Sibi-Okumu, famed for the JSO@7
program, a daily current affairs and news show that he hosts on Kiss TV. The
new exciting play, directed by Nick Njache started yesterday, and will run
until March 2.
